The
Arizona Robotics Challenge hosted by
Intel, in cooperation with
Arizona State University and
University of Arizona, was
held on April 11, 2008. Of all the security robots that
competed, Red Spark broadcasted live
over the internet as it won second place in the challenge. The
first place was taken by the University of Arizona with a
modified version of iRobot's
Roomba/Create.
The competition pictures can be found in the
Red Spark Gallery as well as
in the
East Valley Tribune event photos page. Red Spark
successfully finished patrolling the office environment. Many
are waiting to see what we have to show for Fall 2008 as we
compete for the first place with the new much improved design,
the Null Spark Security Robot.
